West Virginia University has reached a settlement agreement with the Big East Conference and will officially begin its full membership in the Big 12 Conference in July. The Mountaineers 2012 football schedule has also been released.

Kyle Kuric hit a 3-pointer and Russ Smith made a layup 24 seconds apart to give Louisville the lead after they had trailed by 13, and the Cardinals hung on for a 77-74 win over West Virginia in Morgantown. Kevin Jones had 22 points and 11 rebounds for WVU, who lost for the fifth time in their past six games.
