‎Pitt‬'s NCAA tournament hopes took a severe blow Sunday night, as the Panthers fell to Wake Forest 69-66 in Winston-Salem.

Mike Young led the Panthers with 22 points, and Jamel Artis added 19 in the loss.

Jamel Artis scored 24 points, Michael Young added 22 and ‪‎Pitt‬ survived a 39-point night from BC's Olivier Hanlan to beat the Eagles 71-65, the sixth win in the last eight games for the Panthers.

PITTSBURGH - Artis and Young combined to shoot 12 of 21 from the field and 21 of 26 from the line, as well as corralling 17 of the Panthers’ 29 rebounds.

Chris Jones had a career-high 19 points off the bench and Jamel Artis scored 16 with six assists and six rebounds as Pitt held on to beat Syracuse 65-61 at the Carrier Dome on Saturday afternoon.

The win improves Pitt’s to 18-10 overall and evens their conference record at 7-7.

Louisville's Montrezl Harrell was dominant, scoring 26 and grabbing 10 rebounds to lead the 9th-ranked Cardinals over Pitt 69-56 at the KFC Yum! Center.

Coming off a big 83-77 win at home against the Syracuse Orange, the Panthers were looking for their third straight win when they traveled to Louisville to take on the Cardinals (20-4, 8-3 ACC).
