John Gillon and the Syracuse Orange defeated the Pitt Panthers by a final score of 77-66 in an Atlantic Coast Conference game at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse, New York.

The 11-point final margin does not reveal Syracuse’s dominance over the course of the entire game. The Orange held a 36-8 lead over the Panthers after the first 14 minutes of play.
