The Clairton Bears (3-0) enter Week 4 of their season looking to pick up a win over the rival Monessen Greyhounds (2-1) as the Greyhounds try to bounce back after a 49-33 upset loss to Fort Cherry in Week 3.

On the other side, Clairton extended its winning streak to 66 games with a 32-7 triumph over California, the longest such streak in the nation.

Coming off a 42-0 loss to Thomas Jefferson last week—the 21st consecutive loss against the Jaguars—the Elizabeth Forward Warriors (1-1) look to get back over .500 in Week 3 against the Laurel Highlands Mustangs.

Thomas Jefferson dominated the Warriors and held JaQuan Davidson to negative-six rushing yards on 10 attempts.

Before Washington High School and Greensburg Central Catholic officially open their 2013 football seasons, Washington will honor 1920 graduate Charles West.

West went on to fame at Washington and Jefferson, and is believed to be the first African-American quarterback to play in the Rose Bowl.
