Skating alongside the best hockey players in the world is a big responsibility. Eric Tangradi, a 221-pound, 6’4” left wing, knows this, and is being groomed for the task everyday.

Coaches in Pittsburgh and Wilkes-Barre are preparing Tangradi, acquired from Anaheim along with Chris Kunitz in a trade that sent Ryan Whitney to the Ducks, to be a top-six forward in the NHL.

Sidney Crosby notched his second hat trick in the past three games to lead the Pens to a 3-2 win over the Atlanta Thrashers in a battle of the NHL's two hottest teams. The Pens win—their eighth straight—snapped Atlanta's six game winning streak. Crosby has now scored in 14 consecutive games.
