Robert Morris (0-5) is still searching for a win this season as they fell to Kansas State 61-40 while committing 25 season-high turnovers.
Isaiah Still scored 10 points on 3-of-17 shooting, leading the Colonials in scoring and Aaron Tate tallied 11 rebounds.
RMU shot only 23 percent in their fifth consecutive loss, despite having 40 rebounds during the game.
Kansas came out strong in the first several minutes, running to a quick 10-0 lead. Dean Wade scored a season-high 13 points and had nine rebounds as DJ Johnson and Barry Brown both contributed 12 points to bring the Wildcats to victory.
A lot of scrutiny has been placed on Wade this season for not performing up to par for the Wildcats during his first several games as a sophomore.
“I felt like I was letting the team down by not playing aggressive,'' Wade said in a post-game interview. ''So tonight I wanted to come out and be as aggressive as I could and still be smart with the ball.''
Kansas State shot 47 percent on 23-of-49 shooting and was the first team to hold the Colonials under 50 points this season.
Robert Morris is scheduled Friday at 7:30 p.m. to play Hampton in Towson, Maryland. It will be RMU’s third of four games in the Barclays Classic.
