The Lions had stormed back to pull within 19-14 and were deep into Knoch territory before running back Lenny Grebeck was stopped on fourth down. Knoch took over and burned four minutes off the clock before Greensburg Salem was intercepted on their last gasp effort.
Knoch running back Cody Milsom started the scoring in the first quarter with a one-yard plunge, and the Knights took a 12-0 lead when Asa Adams caught a flea-flicker pass from receiver Ryan Grossman.
Milsom scored again in the third quarter to push the score to 19-0 before Greensburg Salem started their comeback.
Running back Connor Forkey capped a 13-play, 64-yard drive with a 1-yard run to put the Lions on the board. Minutes later, quarterback Brady Mason found Tyler Mathias for a 25-yard touchdown early in the fourth quarter.
The Lions got the ball back midway through the quarter and drove the length of the field, but Knoch came up with the big stop and escaped with a victory.
