Tyler Boyd, Pitt, SO, WR, Clairton: Boyd broke freshman receiving records in the ACC and at Pitt last season, hauling in 85 receptions for 1,174 yards and 7 touchdowns. He is expected to be a game-breaker for the Pitt offense again this season.
Dorian Johnson, Pitt, SO, OL, Belle Vernon: Johnson started two games at offensive tackle and one at guard for the Panthers in his true freshman season last year. He is currently the starter at left guard.
Jaquaun Davidson, Pitt, FR, WR, Elizabeth Forward: A standout quarterback at EF, Davidson is playing wide receiver for Pitt. He is expected to redshirt this fall.
Titus Howard, Pitt, SO, CB, Clairton: Howard played in 11 games and started two as a true freshman in 2013. He was competing for the starting cornerback job this summer, but an unspecified violation of team rules earned him a season-long suspension. He remains with the program but will not play this year.
Kevin Weatherspoon, Pitt, SR, WR, Clairton: After limited playing time his first two seasons, Weatherspoon played in 12 games last year, starting twice. He caught 14 passes for 154 yards.
Terrish Webb, Pitt, SO, DB, Clairton: Webb played in every game for Pitt as a true freshman and earned one start at safety. He is currently the Panthers starting strong safety.
Chase Winovich, Michigan, FR, LB, Thomas Jefferson: A standout running back and linebacker for TJ, Winovich landed on the defensive side of the ball in Ann Arbor. He will likely redshirt this season.
