Offensive tackle Anthony Alosi of The Hun School in Princeton, N.J. has verbally committed to Penn State.
Alosi, 6-6. 285, graduated from Cherokee High School in Marlton, N.J. in June 2010 but only had offers from Division I-AA programs Monmouth and Wagner, so he elected to spend a season at prep school.
The extra year of seasoning paid off, as Alosi added 25 pounds of muscle and had offers from Connecticut and Penn State. Boston College and Maryland were also interested.
Alosi is the fifth recruit in Penn State's 2011 class.
