
ESPN2’s SportsNation To visit Penn State on Thursday

Penn State will be the last stop for ESPN2's SportsNation as the program tours selected Big Ten Universities this week. On Thursday, Sept. 23 hosts Colin Cowherd and Michelle Beadle will broadcast the program live from outside Gate B at the Bryce Jordan Center.
ESPN2's SportsNation will broadcast live from 4-5 p.m. on Thursday and re-air at 6 p.m. and midnight. The tour also is making stops this week at the campuses of Wisconsin, Iowa and Michigan.
In addition to airing on ESPN2, a SportsNation Big Ten segment is appearing on all episodes of ESPN2's SportsCenter this week.
Also on Thursday, The Herd, which Cowherd hosts, will originate from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. from Gate B at the Bryce Jordan Center. The Herd airs live on ESPN Radio affiliates and is simulcast on ESPNU. The Herd has originated from Penn State several times in recent years.
SportsNation incorporates user-generated polls and games based on the day's leading sports news into a fun, interactive show. The Penn State episode will be aired live and will feature polls and games involving the Nittany Lion football program with visits by special guests.
Penn State fans of are encouraged to participate in ESPN2's program by visiting Gate B on Thursday, participate in games and interact with Cowherd and Beadle during the live broadcast. "The Big Ten conference has some of the most rabid fans in all of college football and having their intensity on set is going to take the show to a crazy new level," said Cowherd. "I know that our show has a huge following of college kids and I'm fired up to get the chance to be face-to-face with them."
