Clairton's Green commits to Pitt

Clairton High School athlete Desimon Green, a standout quarterback who is being recruited as a defensive end, has committed to Pitt.

Green's commitment comes on the heels of pledges from two other defensive ends in the past week.

Greee, 6-5, 220-pounds, is raw but has a very high ceiling and is athletic enough to play linebacker at the next level.

Green chose Pitt over Texas Tech and also had scholarship offers from West Virginia, Cincinnati, Michigan, Michigan State, Illinois, Purdue and several others. Pitt now has 14 commitments from the class of 2011, including two WPIAL players.
