Velton Jones scored 17 points and Coron Williams 14 as Robert Morris beat a good Ohio team—whose only previous loss was by 5 points to No. 7 Louisville—in Athens 70-67 Monday night. The Colonials improved to 11-4 on the season with the impressive road win.

The Colonials shot a season-high 53.2 percent (25-for-47) and held on in the final minute of regulation to post the win.

Lijah Thompson had a steal, hit two free throws and drained a lay-up in the final two minutes to give Robert Morris the lead, and the Colonials hit three free throws in the final 10 seconds to pull the upset over Duquesne, 64-60, at the A.J. Palumbo Center Tuesday night.
