Drew Brees went downright surgical on the Steelers secondary in the second half, leading the Saints to a 20 to 10 win over Pittsburgh on Halloween night in New Orleans. In one of the best games in the NFL this season, the last two Super Bowl champions put on a bone-crunching display at the Super Dome with Brees carrying a Saints offense that was held to just 30 yards on the ground.

The Steelers used a big passing day from Ben Roethlisberger, solid defense and a fortuitous call on a video review late in the game to beat the Dolphins 23-22 in Miami. Defensive end Aaron Smith, linebacker Lamar Woodley and offensive tackle Flozell Adams all left the game with injuries.

Ben Roethlisberger shook off the rust of his four-game suspension to throw for 257 yards and three touchdowns, and the Steelers' defense terrorized the Browns for five sacks and three turnovers as Pittsburgh took over sole possession of first place in the AFC North with a 28-10 thumping of the Browns.

The Steelers return from their bye with a home game against the Cleveland Browns that will mark the return of prodigal son/quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. The Steelers QB is back after serving his NFL-mandated four game suspension for violating the league's personal-conduct policy. Browns rookie quarterback Colt McCoy is expected to make his first NFL start.
