Pitt threw away a 21-point lead, including a 17-point fourth quarter advantage, in a 31-27 loss at Iowa. The Panthers led by 10 points with under 10 minutes left, but ran 6 passing plays over their next 9 offensive snaps and allowed Iowa to continue to maintain possession.

The 2011 Pitt Panthers football are entering new beginning under a new regime. And while there were some bad times that brought about this new beginning, according to senior defensive back Buddy Jackson, it is anything but a “bad” thing.
