T.J. McConnell scored 18 points and Duquesne held Saint Louis without a basket for 14 minutes while turning a four-point deficit into a 19-point lead before going on to 67-45 victory on Wednesday night, its fifth in a row.

Maybe it was in honor of the NFL playoffs in full swing in Pittsburgh.

West Virginia rallied from 10 down with 15 minutes left to beat Duquesne 64-61 at Consol Energy Center Sunday night. WVU's Jonnie West scored 10 points in the second half to counter the Dukes' T.J. McConnell, who scored 18 and missed a potential game-tying 3-pointer at the buzzer.

For the Dukes, maybe it just wasn't meant to be.
