Micah Mason had 26 points but ‪‎Duquesne‬ had no answer for La Salle junior guard Jordan Price, who scored 36 to lead the Explorers over the Dukes 88-73 in the opening round of the Atlantic 10 Tournament.

Price added 12 rebounds to notch a double-double and made 13-of-27 shots from the field, including five 3-pointers.

The win snaps the Dukes eight-game losing streak, which began in early February.

Duquesne’s senior night was not a happy one, as the Dukes’ month-long losing streak was extended to seven games.

Six Dukes scored in double-figures but St. Bonaventure pulled ahead late and outlasted Duquesne 80-76 on Wednesday night in New York.

Jaylen Adams scored 18 of his game-high 24 points in the second half to lead St. Bonaventure (19-7, 11-4) to an 80-76 win over Duquesne (15-13, 5-10) at Reilly Center.

Fifteen first half fouls and a lack of flow sank the Duquesne Dukes Saturday afternoon, as Davidson completed the season sweep at the A.J. Palumbo Center, 93-82.

PITTSBURGH - “There’s no excuses,” senior guard Micah Mason said. “They came out and out-toughened us in every area of the game.”
