Duquesne narrowed a 10-point deficit to 3 with five seconds left, but ultimately fell to Robert Morris 67-63. Karvel Anderson had 17 points for Colonials while Dominique McKoy led the Dukes with 16 points and 10 rebounds.

Robert Morris guard Karvel Anderson hit five 3-pointers, including two in the final 4:41, to propel the Colonials to the win at the A.J. Palumbo Center.

Cameron Wright had 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists as Pitt blew open a close game at halftime and cruised to an 84-67 blowout of Duquesne in the City Game, Pitt's 13th consecutive win in a once competitive rivalry.

Pitt (7-0) continued their trend of storming out of the gate in the opening minutes, as the Panthers had a double-digit lead before the game was five minutes old.

Eron Harris scored 33 points and Juwan Staten added 28 as West Virginia (2-1) pulled away late to defeat Duquesne 96-83 at WVU Coliseum.

The Mountaineers (2-1) managed to hold off the Dukes (1-2) to avenge last season’s loss, which was West Virginia’s only loss in the previous nine meetings between the two teams.
