Penguins clinch playoff berth in 4-1 win over Detroit

Phil Kessel added two goals and an assist, while Matt Murray stopped 33 shots, as the Pittsburgh Penguins toppled the Detroit Red Wings 4-1 at PPG Paints Arena Thursday night, earning a playoff spot for a 13th consecutive year, the longest active running streak in the NHL.
