Rookie Jordan Luplow notched his first major league home run and Jameson Taillon pitched six scoreless innings, as the Bucs shutout the Reds 5-0 at PNC Park Saturday night.

The rookie right-fielder, who hit 23 homers in the minors this season but entered Saturday's game 0-12 as a major leaguer, smashed a three-run homerun in the eighth to break open a close game.

Jameson Taillon pitched six scoreless innings and Starling Marte added three hits for Pittsburgh. A.J. Schugel (4-0) picked up the victory in relief as the Pirates ended a four-game losing streak.
