PSR Logo

PSR's weekly Steelers Gameday Podcast feature, "Tomlin Tidbits", contains highlights from Mike Tomlin's press conference at the team's South Side headquarters. Though regularly scheduled on Tuesday, it was moved up to Monday this week with the Steelers taking on the Carolina Panthers this Thursday (12.23) at Heinz Field.

Highlights include Tomlin's responses to my questions concerning the club making the postseason as well as areas he suggested the Steelers could have handled better in the Jets loss, includig the game-opening kickoff TD return by Brad Smith. Other highlights are taking positive developments from the loss, why the Jets had more relative success running the ball against Pittsburgh, how the successful bootleg for a TD by Mark Sanchez actually contained a small victory of sorts for the Steelers and more.

Whenever a hockey team changes coaches mid-season, it’s fair to look at the season in two parts. The beginning of the 2015-16 Pittsburgh Penguins campaign was the end of the Mike Johnston era and the remainder marked the beginning of Mike Sullivan’s tenure as head coach.
