Steelers sign first-round pick T.J. Watt

The Steelers and first-round draft pick T.J. Watt have agreed to a contract.

PITTSBURGH – The Steelers have signed their first-round selection, linebacker T.J. Watt, from the 2017 NFL Draft. Financial terms of the four-year deal were not disclosed.

Watt (6-4, 252), who was the 30th overall pick, played collegiately at the University of Wisconsin. He played in 27 games, making 14 starts, over a two-year span. Watt recorded 70 tackles, including 17 stops for losses and 11.5 sacks in his career.

All Steelers selected in the 2017 NFL Draft have now signed with the team.
