Milan Smith scored a fourth-quarter touchdown and Penn Hills forced a late Woodland Hills turnover as the Indians topped the Wolverines 22-15.

Smith capped a 58-yard drive with a 3-yard run to give Penn Hills the lead midway through the final quarter. The Indians clinched the victory -- and the Quad-A Southeastern Conference title -- when Cody Allen forced a fumble that Greg Hoolahan recovered with 2:30 remaining.

Penn Hills and Woodland Hills both finished the season with a 6-1 conference record, but the Indians victory will give them the higher playoff seed.

Penn Hills quarterback Billy Kisner threw for 77 yards and two touchdowns, and added 59 rushing yards. Te'Shan Campbell led Penn Hills rushers with 79 yards.

Woodland Hills junior Miles Sanders, a Penn State recruit, led all rushers with 132 yards. Sanders also scored a pair of touchdowns, including the first on of the game early in the second quarter from 2 yards out.

Kisner directed the game-tying drive later in the quarter following his 54-yard punt return to set up the score. The Indians hit paydirt when Kisner hooked up with Christian Randall-Posey for a 41-yard TD pass.

The Indians moved ahead 14-7 when Kisner found Hoolahan from 19-yards out, but Woodland Hills went back up late in the third quarter when Sanders ripped off a 52-yard run. Jo-El Shaw added a two-point conversion to put the home team ahead 15-14.

The game-winning drive lasted just under five minutes was capped by Smith's 3-yard run. Kisner ran for the 2-point conversion to give Penn Hills a 22-15 lead.

Woodland Hills got the ball back and moved into Penn Hills territory with under three minutes remaining, but the Indians' Allen stripped Woody High quarterback Jeremiah Jones and Hoolahan pounced on it to give Penn Hills possession. They were able to run the clock out after converting two first downs.

Penn Hills had lost four of its past five meetings with Woodland Hills before their victory Friday night.
