Although Clairton once again ran away with a big victory, the game was played at an intense level from the time the two teams took the field.
The two squads were hit with nine personal fouls in the first half and Monessen's Rashawn Ford was thrown out of the game after arguing a person foul.
Clairton scored 22 points in each of the first two quarters to take a commanding 44-0 lead into the half.
Wade found the end zone twice in the opening quarter, on runs of 26 and 65 yards. Quarterback Aaron Matthews then found Ryan Williams for a 37-yard scoring strike to close the first quarter, and Matthews opened the second quarter with a 34-yard touchdown run. Clairton added scores on a Jyleel Hall 16-yard fumble return and a Williams one-yard run before the half.
Wade scored in the third quarter on an 85-yard run and the Bears closed the scoring on Noah Hamlin’s 22-yard interception return for a touchdown in the fourth quarter.
