
Thomas Jefferson rolls over Uniontown

WPIAL rushing leader Austin Kemp scored four touchdowns and ran for 111 yards on 11 carries as TJ made quick work of Uniontown.
The Jaguars scored 35 points in the first quarter and led 56-0 at halftime.
The Red Raiders fell to 0-7.
The Jaguars scored in all three phases of the game to open the first quarter. On their first possession, Kemp opened the scoring with an 8-yard run to put the Jaguars ahead 7-0.
It was 14-0 moments later when Danny Matulula recovered a Uniontown fumble in the end zone, and special teams chipped in when Luke Petruzzi took a blocked punt 3-yards for a TD to stretch TJ’s lead to 21-0..
Kemp scored two more first half touchdowns, from 21 and 15 yards, to make it 35-0 after just one quarter of play.
Kemp scored his final touchdown of the game on a 10-yard run to open the second quarter.
Ryan Scanlon and Quinton Hill added scoring runs in the first half.
Hill had two touchdowns on the evening.
Lyric Ellis scored the Red Raiders only touchdown of the game on a 1-yard run in the fourth quarter.
