
Franklin Regional tops Indiana 34-20

The Panthers improved to 3-1 while the Little Indians dropped to 2-2 in the Greater Allegheny Conference.
Quarterback Santino Birty added a touchdown in the air and one on the ground for Franklin Regional.
The Panthers took an early lead when Zachary Iovino hauled in a 13-yard pass from Birty in the first quarter. James Young added a 20-yard field goal in the second quarter and Franklin Regional took a 9-0 lead into the half.
Zanotto extended the score to 16-0 with his only touchdown of the game in the third quarter.
The Little Indians got on the board on a 56-yard run by quarterback Jacob Zilinskas, but the Panthers answered with another Young field goal to make the score 19-6.
Dylan Stapleton made things interesting with a 20-yard touchdown run, pulling Indiana within 19-13, but Franklin Regional got touchdown runs from Dominic Giannangeli and Birty to push the lead to 34-13.
Stapleton caught a pass from Zilinskas to cap the scoring at 34-20.
Indiana's Zilinskas rushed for 134 yards. The Panthers ran for 354 yards on the ground in the game.
