Second-year receiver returned punt 60 yards for touchdown in Steelers win over Bengals

Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown was named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week after helping his team defeat the Cincinnati Bengals 35-7 in a key AFC North matchup. This marks the first time Brown has won the award and the first time a Steeler has won the award since wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders won the award during the 2010 season.

Brown registered his first career punt return for a touchdown, a 60-yarder in the second quarter to give the Steelers a 28-7 lead. It was the first punt return for a touchdown by a Steeler since the 2006 season. Brown is third in the AFC with 330 punt return yards this season, and he is second in the AFC with a 12.2 punt return average.

In addition to his success on special teams, Brown has emerged as one of the Steelers’ top threats on offense, leading Steelers in either receptions or yards the last five games. Brown is tops in the AFC and second in the NFL with 1,665 all-purpose yards.
