PITTSBURGH — Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week after leading his team to a 25-17 victory over the New England Patriots. Roethlisberger finished 36-of-50 for a season-high 365 yards and two touchdowns against the Patriots, recording his third 300-yard game of the season and the 18th of his career. His 36 completions and 50 pass attempts were the second-most of his career.

Roethlisberger set career highs with 23 completions and 32 pass attempts in the first half, and he went 9-for-12 for 104 yards with one touchdown on third-down pass plays. Roethlisberger has now thrown for at least 200 yards in career-best 16 straight regular-season games.
