WPIAL football playoff pairings released

North Allegheny, Central Valley, Aliquippa and Clairton get top seeds

The WPIAL announced playoff pairings and seedings on Monday night, with North Allegheny, Central Valley, Aliquippa and Clairton recieving the top seeds in Quad-A, Triple-A, Double-A and Single-A respectively.

The playoffs begin this Friday. Teams that finished in first or second place in their conference receive home games in the first round. The games are played at neutral sites beginning with the quarterfinals. The championship games are at Heinz Field on Saturday, Nov. 26.
