North Hills Jordan Blackmon ran for 180 yards on just 8 carries, scoring two touchdowns and setting up two others as the visiting Indians ran all over Hempfield, 42-0.

Blackmon got things going for the Indians immediately when he returned the opening kick 45 yards to the Hempfield 32 yard line, setting up Tyler Reddick for a 13 yard touchdown run. Midway through the quarter, Hempfield had North Hills facing a 3rd and 27 from their own 32, but Blackmon broke loose for a 35 yard run for an improbable first down. His 17 yard run three plays later set up a 5-yard scoring rush by Josh Hulbert to give North Hills a 14-0 lead.

Late in the opening quarter, Blackmon's 60 yard run set up Holbert for his second TD of the game and North Hills led 21-0. Blackmon found the end zone twice in the second quarter as the Indians took a 35-0 lead into the half.

Tom Weeden's fumble recovery in the end zone was the only scoring of the second half, as the clock ran and North Hills notched the shutout to improve to 3-2.

Josh Bell had not hit a walk-off home run since he was a member of the Altoona Curve in 2015. He changed that Friday with a soaring shot for the left field loonies.
