PSR Game of the Week: NA Romps over State College

Junior quarterback Mack Leftwich connected on his first pass of the night, a scoring strike to receiver Brendon Conniker, and North Allegheny demolished State College in a 53-21 romp on Friday, an impressive start to the Tigers' defense of their state championship from a year ago.

State College quarterback Josh Weakland answered, leading the Lions on an 80-yard drive with 5-for-5 passing, capped by a Jack Hafner 5-yard touchdown run, to tie the game.

The Tigers simply had too much firepower for visiting State College, and Art Walker's squad served notice to the rest of the WPIAL Quad-A that knocking the Tigers off the mountain won't be an easy task.
