Pitt lands pair of talented Youngstown receivers

Twin brothers Chris and Demetrious Davis of Austintown Fitch HS commit to Panthers

Twin brothers Chris and Demitrious Davis, wide receivers out of Austintown Fitch HS in Youngstown, have committed to Pitt. The Davis brothers also had offers from Arkansas, Colorado, Iowa, UCLA and West Virginia, among others. Demitrious also had an offer from Oregon.

The brothers made the announcement at a gathering of family and friends in Austintown.

Demitrious Davis, 5'10" 180-pounds, totaled over 2,000 yards from scrimmage and scored 28 touchdowns as a junior, while his brother Chris, 5-8, 180, had 750 all-purpose yards in 2010.

Pitt now has nine commitments in the class of 2012.
