The Ellis Cannon Academy of Sports Media and Broadcasting was launched at the Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School in the Fall, 2010. This first-of-its-kind Virtual Classroom program provides fundamentals in the broad spectrum of sports media and broadcasting, including print, radio, television, online and production and is complemented with noted guest speakers. Academy Director Ellis Cannon is assisted by PA Cyber instructional supervisor and local sports personality, Marc Grandinetti. High school students across Pennsylvania will be able to get an early start on a career in sports media and broadcasting in a new program being offered this year by the Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School

The Ellis Cannon Academy of Sports Media and Broadcasting is a two-semester program to be taught by the veteran sports broadcaster himself in real time as a Virtual Classroom course.
