Harvey (1-2) gave up three hits in his third start for the Reds, who acquired him from the Mets for catcher Devin Mesoraco on May 8.

Leading 5-4 in the ninth, Vazquez immediately got into trouble by allowing back to back singles out of the gates.

Kingham’s third career start got off to a rocky start, allowing three consecutive RBI doubles in the first inning.

Meadows is ranked as the Pirates’ second best prospect by MLB Pipeline and 42nd overall.

After starter Chad Kuhl was roughed up and eventually pulled in the fifth inning, the bullpen recorded 4.2 scoreless innings of relief to pick up their starter.

Pittsburgh has won seven of eight and improved to 10-2 in interleague play this season.
