Ski Safety Tips
1. Invest in ski lessons. It will make skiing more enjoyable and a lot safer!
2. Ski under control at all times.
3. Only ski on runs which are appropriate for your skiing ability.
4. Always focus 100 percent of your attention on your skiing and the mountain in front of you.
5. Avoid other skiers, always maintain a distance of least 25 to 50 feet between you and other skiers. If a ski run is busy don't hesitate to stop and let other skiers pass. You can then proceed down the mountain once it has cleared.
6. There is no place for horseplay on a ski run.
7. Don't block trails.
8. Yield when merging.
9. All skiers shall use devices to prevent runaway skis.
10. Observe all signs.
11. Read trail maps for specific mountain requirements.
